How do I price dumpster rentals with weight limits and extra days?
Each size has one price that includes a number of days and tons, then a price for each extra day and each extra ton. Example: a 20 yard dumpster at $425 for 7 days and 3 tons, with $12 per extra day and $65 per extra ton. ServFlo adds the extras to the final bill from the pickup date and the dump tickets.
Can customers order a dumpster online?
Yes. Customers can order on your booking page, by phone with the AI receptionist, or in your website chat. Only sizes you allow and that are free for their dates are offered, and the AI in the website chat never gives prices.
Can customers ask for a pickup or a swap themselves?
Yes. In the customer portal they see their dumpster, the days so far and the days included, and can tap Request pickup or Request swap. You get a notification and book the stop.
How are dump tickets recorded?
At the landfill, the driver enters the weight in tons, the dump site, the cost if it differs from the site's price per ton, and a photo of the ticket. The weight counts toward the rental and the cost shows in the job's costs.
What happens when the driver can't drop the dumpster?
The driver marks the stop as a dry run. Nothing moves, your trip fee is added to the rental, and the stop goes back to the office to schedule again.
