Jobber alternatives in 2026: who each one fits, with prices
Jobber is one of the best-known tools for home-service businesses, and for many solo operators and small crews it is a good fit. People start looking at alternatives for a few common reasons: the bill grows with every person who logs in, they need deeper features for their trade, or they want a tool that matches how a bigger team works.
This list covers nine alternatives, what each one charges and the kind of business it suits. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own pricing page in November 2026. Where a vendor does not publish prices, we say so instead of guessing. We make ServFlo, and it is on this list; we've tried to be fair to everyone, including where another tool is the better fit.
Key takeaways
- Pricing models differ more than features do: per user, per technician, per route, unlimited users, or office users only.
- Housecall Pro, Kickserv, GorillaDesk, Service Fusion and ServFlo publish their prices. ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldPulse and FieldEdge quote after a sales conversation.
- For large, multi-department contractors, ServiceTitan and FieldEdge aim at that end of the market.
- For route-based trades like pest control and lawn care, GorillaDesk prices by route.
- If your crew is growing, check how each tool counts technicians before you compare starting prices.

Which Jobber alternative is cheapest?
Among tools that publish prices, the lowest starting prices as of November 2026 are GorillaDesk at $49/month for the first route, ServFlo Core at $49/month, Kickserv Start at $60/month with 5 users, and Housecall Pro Basic at $79/month with 1 user. The cheapest option for you depends on your headcount, because each tool counts people differently.
A solo operator will pay about the same almost anywhere. A team of ten technicians will see big differences between per-user, per-route, unlimited-user and office-user pricing. Always work out the price for your own team.

How do you choose the right Jobber alternative?
Start with how the tool counts people, then check the three or four features your trade can't live without, then run a real week of jobs through a trial. Starting prices are the least useful number on a pricing page; the price for your team in two years is the one that matters.
A short checklist:
- Count your people. How many technicians and how many office staff will log in this year and next?
- Price your team on each tool. Include extra users, routes or technicians, and the add-ons you'd actually use.
- List your must-haves. For HVAC and plumbing, that's usually memberships, equipment history and quotes with options. For pest and lawn, recurring routes. For inspectors, reports.
- Check the tech app offline. Ask to see it in airplane mode.
- Ask how you'd move your data. Most tools import customers and jobs from spreadsheets; ask exactly which records and formats.
Switching from Jobber
Whichever tool you pick, plan the move. Export your customers, properties, jobs, quotes and invoices from Jobber as files, and import them into the new system before you cut over. Saved customer cards usually can't be moved between payment processors, so plan to ask customers to add theirs again. Pick a quiet week, run both systems for a few days, and switch your online booking link last.
ServFlo imports Jobber exports and other spreadsheets: you upload the files, check how the columns are mapped and preview before anything is imported. See all the options side by side on our alternatives page.
The right Jobber alternative is the one that fits your trade and keeps making sense as your crew grows. If you're adding technicians and want a price that doesn't change with every hire, ServFlo's free 14-day trial is an easy way to try it on your own jobs.
