Reports
Write inspection, service and test reports on your jobs, publish them as a branded page and PDF, and release them when you're paid.
Reports turn what your team finds on site into a clear document your client can read online or download as a PDF. Home inspectors use them for full inspection reports; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, pest, septic, chimney, pool, backflow and solar companies use them for maintenance reports, safety checks and test certificates.
Everything starts from a template: the sections and items to check, the statuses and severities you use, a library of ready-made comments, and how the report looks. A report is added to a job from its template, filled in on the computer or the phone, then published. Your release rules decide when the client can open it, for example only once the job is paid and the agreement is signed.
In the app, Service reports (under Work in the left menu) are these documents. The Reports menu further down is something else: charts about your revenue, jobs and team.

Who can do what
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner, admin | Everything, including templates, the comment library, release rules and agreement wording |
| Dispatcher | Add, fill in, publish and share reports; lock and unlock them; send agreements |
| Technician | Add and fill in reports on their own jobs, then Submit for review |

By default technicians fill in and submit, and the office publishes, so nothing reaches a client without a second look.
