Fix sync problems

What to do when ServFlo Tech says something is waiting, was refused, or a job isn't on your phone.

Most of the time syncing takes care of itself. Here's what the app's messages mean and what to do.

See what's waiting

Open More. Under Sync you see Last synced, whether you're Online or Offline, and either Everything is sent or how many things are waiting. Under On this phone, each item shows Waiting or Refused.

Something was refused

When My day says ServFlo refused something you did. Tap to see why., open More and find the item marked Refused with ServFlo's reason. For example, the job was reassigned to someone else, or the agreement's wording changed.

  • Tap Try again if you've fixed the cause.
  • Tap Discard to remove it from the phone. It will not reach ServFlo.

Things stay waiting

  • Check you have signal (the app shows Offline when it has none), then tap Sync now.
  • Items are sent in order. If one keeps failing because of the connection, the ones after it wait too.
  • Photos and videos take longest. Large videos need a good connection.

A job isn't on my phone

The app says This job isn't on your phone. Pull down on My day to sync. Get signal and pull down on My day. Only today's and tomorrow's jobs are kept on the phone; later ones show in Schedule with signal.

The app says "Getting your jobs"

Your jobs appear after the first sync with signal. If nothing comes, check with the office that you're linked to your technician record and on the crew of today's jobs.

I was signed out

You see You were signed out because this account signed in on another device, or the session expired. An account can be signed in on two devices at once. Sign in again: your unsent work is still on the phone and is sent once you're back in.

I need to sign out or switch business

Send everything first. If things are still waiting, the app warns Not sent yet. Tap Stay signed in, get signal and sync. Sign out anyway deletes the unsent work.
