Add photos and get a signature

Take tagged before and after photos on a job, and have the customer sign off the work.

Photos and a customer signature are your record of what you found and what you did. Both are kept with the job.

Add photos

Open the job's Photos panel

Open the job and find Photos.

Choose a tag

Under Tag for new photos, pick Before, After, General or Issue.

Take or choose photos

Select Take photo to use the camera, or Choose photos to pick from your device. Photos are shrunk before upload to save data.

Use Show photos to filter by tag. Select a photo to see it full size, where you can Change tag, Download or Delete it.

A deleted photo can't be brought back.

Technicians usually take photos in the mobile app, and can add them during the Complete steps.

Share photos with customers

Customers don't see job photos unless you turn it on. Go to Settings → Online booking and turn on Show job photos in the portal. Customers then see the before, after and general photos of completed jobs in their portal. Issue photos and signatures are never shown.

Get the customer's signature

Open Customer sign-off

On the job, find Customer sign-off and select Collect signature.

Have the customer sign

Hand the screen to the customer. They type their name under Signed by, sign in the box, and read the statement above it. Select Clear to start again.

Save

Select Save signature. The job shows who signed and when, and What they agreed to.

To replace a signature, select Sign again.

Invoices made from the job show Work accepted by with the customer's name and date.

Change what customers agree to

Go to Settings → General and find What customers sign. Edit the Job sign-off statement, then Save. Leave it empty to use ServFlo's default. A copy of the exact text is kept with each signature, so changing it never changes what earlier customers agreed to.

ServFlo's default wording is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice. Have your own wording reviewed for your state and trade.
