Send payment reminders

Remind customers about unpaid invoices by hand, or let ServFlo do it on a schedule.

You can nudge a customer about an unpaid invoice yourself at any time, or turn on automatic reminders that go out after the due date and stop the moment the invoice is paid.

Send a reminder now

  1. Open a Sent or Overdue invoice that still has a balance due.
  2. Click Send reminder.
  3. Choose Email or Text, check the message, and click Send.
Clicking Send emails or texts the customer.

The reminder says how much is still due and when it was due, with the link to pay by card or bank. To remind many customers at once, tick invoices on the Billing → Invoices list and choose Send reminder.

Turn on automatic reminders

Automatic reminders are available on the Connect, Grow and Pro plans.

Under Ready-made automations, find Overdue invoice reminders and click Turn on.

14 days after the due dateA final email reminder

Reminders stop as soon as the invoice is paid, or when the customer replies. They follow the customer's contact preferences and your quiet hours.

  • Invoice sent: payment link emails each invoice with its pay link as soon as it's issued.
  • Payment receipt emails a receipt when a payment comes in. See Payment receipts.
