How the free trial works
What you get during the 14-day free trial, what waits until you add a card, and what happens when the trial ends.
Every new business gets a 14-day free trial of Grow. You don't need a card to start. You can explore every feature, set up your business and try things out on yourself.
What waits for a card
Some things cost ServFlo money every time they run, so they stay off until a card is on file:
- Buying phone numbers, including your business's texting number
- Texting and calling customers
- The AI receptionist
- Ad spend
- Visit safety checks
- Sending marketing campaigns
You can still test these on yourself. Before you add a card, you get:
- Texts and calls to your own team's phones
- Up to 25 ServFlo emails a day, sent only to your team's own email addresses
- 25 AI credits in total for the whole trial
Adding a card doesn't charge you anything. You aren't charged until the trial ends. See Add a card.
Your texting number is picked for you automatically. If you start the trial without a card, ServFlo waits and picks a number near you as soon as you add one.
With a card on file
Once you add a card, the trial works like Grow, with a few limits:
- AI credits: Grow's monthly allowance of 2,000.
- Texts and emails: up to Grow's included amounts (1,000 texts and 20,000 emails). Past those amounts, sending stops until you choose a plan. Nothing is billed as overage during the trial.
- Phone system and AI receptionist: both are included, up to 1 phone number, 100 call minutes and 30 AI receptionist minutes over the whole trial. Past those limits, calls and the AI receptionist pause until you subscribe.
- Extra office users: the trial includes Grow's 3 office users. You can add a seat during the trial too, at $35 a month each, billed with your plan.
When the trial ends
You can pick a plan at any time during the trial in Settings → Billing. Picking a plan ends the trial at once and charges your card today. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan.
- You picked a plan: the trial has already ended, and that plan continues.
- You added a card but didn't choose another plan: Grow continues after the trial and is charged to the card.
- No card on file: your business moves to Core. All your data stays, and nothing is deleted. Features that aren't part of Core pause until you upgrade.
To see how many days you have left, go to Settings → Billing. The owner also sees the days left in a banner at the top of every screen until a card is added.
