Tracking and attribution
How ServFlo credits requests, jobs and revenue to campaigns, ads, QR codes and referrals.
All planscampaigns and referrals on Grow and Pro; Ads is an add-on
ServFlo credits each request to where it came from, then follows it to the job and the payment. That's how campaigns, ads, QR codes and referrals show the revenue they brought in.
How a request is credited
| Source | How ServFlo knows | Where to see results |
|---|---|---|
| Email and text campaigns | Links in the message carry the campaign's tags, and each recipient's activity in the attribution window counts | Campaign results |
| Ads | The campaign tags added by Add tracking, or Google's click ID | Ads |
| QR codes | Each code adds its own tags | QR codes |
| Referrals | The customer's referral link or code | Referrals |
| Website, widgets, booking page, website chat | The channel the request came through | Lead tracking |
| Phone calls | Tracking numbers per source (phone system add-on) | Phone |
Your website and booking page remember the tags from the first page of a visit, so a booking made a few pages later is still credited.
Attribution windows
- Campaigns: requests, bookings and payments within the campaign's Attribution window (days) of each customer receiving it (30 days unless you change it).
- Ads: revenue paid on the booked jobs within 90 days of the lead.
Your own tags
Add utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign to any link to your website or booking page, and bookings from it carry those tags. See Lead tracking.
