Selections
List the choices your customer makes, like flooring or fixtures, and let them pick in the portal.
A selection is a choice the customer makes, such as flooring, cabinets or fixtures. On the Selections tab, click New selection and add:
- the allowance: what the contract includes for it;
- a due date;
- options, each with a price and a photo.
When the customer picks
The customer picks an option in their portal and types their name to confirm. If the option costs more than the allowance, the difference becomes an approved change order right away (a credit if it costs less). The contract, budget and billing follow.
If the customer chose in person, click Record choice. To let them choose again, click Let them choose again; the next pick is priced against the earlier one.
