Use ServFlo from ChatGPT or Claude
Connect the AI assistant you already use to ServFlo and run your day from a chat, with your permissions and approvals.
If you already chat with ChatGPT or Claude, you can connect it to ServFlo and work from there: "What's on today?", "Book the Hendersons for a tune-up Tuesday morning", "Draft a quote for a new water heater for Jane Smith". The assistant works in ServFlo as you, with the same permissions as in the app.
What you can do
- Ask about your business: today's schedule, a customer's history, unpaid invoices, this month's revenue.
- Get work done: add customers, book and move jobs, draft and send quotes, invoice a job, record a payment.
- Work on ServFlo screens in the chat. In ChatGPT and Claude, the main answers appear as small ServFlo screens: today's schedule by technician, a customer's 360 view, a quote with its options, an invoice, a time picker and revenue charts. Reschedule a visit, book a job or edit a quote line right there.
- Jump into ServFlo: answers link to the job, customer or invoice in ServFlo.
Connect it
Setting up takes a few minutes. Someone with the owner or admin role makes the connection (or an API key) in Settings → Developers, then you add ServFlo to your assistant. Step-by-step instructions for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others are in Connect an AI assistant.
ChatGPT connects only by signing in with ServFlo. Settings → Developers shows whether sign-in is switched on for your account; until it is, use Claude, Cursor or another assistant with an API key.
You stay in charge
- The assistant can only do what your role allows, limited further by the access you gave the connection (for example, read only).
- Anything that moves money, deletes, messages customers or changes who has access waits for your OK. Some assistants ask you in the chat; for the most important actions ServFlo asks you itself, and you approve on the AI assistant approvals page. See Approve what an AI assistant does.
- Everything the assistant changes is in Settings → Activity log.
- Disconnect it any time under Apps you connected in Settings → Developers, or revoke its API key.
