Ask Flo

Open Flo on any page to ask about your business, have it make changes, or open a form already filled in.

Flo sits in a round bubble on every page of ServFlo. Ask it a question in your own words, or tell it what you want done.

Open Flo

Click the Flo bubble

Click the bubble, or press ⌘ J on a Mac (Ctrl J on Windows). The panel opens beside the bubble. On a phone it fills the screen.

Ask

Type in Ask Flo… and press Send, or tap one of the suggestions such as What's on the schedule today?

Drag the bubble anywhere it's out of your way. It stays where you put it on that device.

What you can ask

Questions about your business. Flo looks things up in your records and answers with links to what it found.

"Which invoices are overdue?"
"What's on the schedule tomorrow for Marcus?"
"How did we do this month compared with last month?"
"When did we last service the Hendersons' furnace?"

Changes. Flo proposes the change and waits for you to approve it. See Approve Flo's changes.

"Add Dana Whitfield as a customer, 555-0123, 14 Oak Street."
"Book a furnace tune-up for the Hendersons next Tuesday morning."
"Invoice yesterday's job at Riverside Dental and send it."
"Move Marcus's 2 pm visit to Thursday."

Forms filled in for you. Say "start", "draft", "fill in" or "open" and Flo opens the form with everything it knows filled in, so you can check it and click Save yourself. Nothing is saved until you do. Flo can open a new job, quote, customer, a payment on an invoice, or a visit on a job.

"Start a quote for Jane Smith for a new AC."
"Open a new job for the Hendersons, furnace repair, Friday at 9."

Finding your way. "Show me unpaid invoices" or "Where do I change our booking hours?" Flo opens the page, or points at the button you need.

Flo knows where you are

Flo sees which page you're on, so "this customer" or "this job" means the one in front of you. It also knows your business, your name and role, and today's date in your business's time zone.

What Flo can and can't do

Flo can do anything you could do yourself in ServFlo, and nothing more. A technician's Flo sees a technician's jobs; a dispatcher's Flo can't issue refunds.
Flo never invents records. If it can't find something, it says so.
Flo can't change your own profile, and it can never approve another AI assistant's request.

On Core and Connect

Flo is on the Grow and Pro plans. On other plans the bubble is replaced by a small "Flo is on the Grow plan" note with See plans, which you can Hide.
