Set up sizes and prices
Add your dumpster sizes and prices, your yards, your dump sites and the charges ServFlo adds automatically.
Everything for dumpster rentals is set up in Settings → Dumpster rentals. Owners and admins can change it.
Starting fresh? Click Load the starter setup. It adds the 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard sizes with sample prices, a yard at your business address, and the usual extra charges. It never changes anything you already have.
Sizes and prices
Each size has one price that covers a number of days and tons, then a price for each day and ton past that.

Sample prices from the starter setup show a Sample tag until you change them. A new price applies to new orders only: rentals already booked keep the price they were ordered at.
Turn off Customers can order it for a size you don't want customers to order themselves (online, by phone with the AI receptionist or in the chat). You can still book it from the office.
Yards
Yards are where your dumpsters wait between rentals. Add each yard with its address so it shows on the map. Yards are the same as the warehouses in Inventory, if you use inventory.
Dump sites
Add the landfills and transfer stations you use, with what they charge per ton. When a driver enters a dump ticket, ServFlo fills in the disposal cost from the weight and this price.
Automatic charges
Pick the pricebook items ServFlo adds for you:
- Swap fee: on every swap.
- Trip fee: when a driver can't do a stop (a dry run).
- Street permit: its price is the permit fee on orders that need one.
- Fuel and environmental fee: on every final bill. Leave it empty to skip it.
Other extra charges (mattresses, tires, appliances) are items in your pricebook that you or the driver add to a rental.
Other settings
- Rental length for new orders: how many days a new order starts with (7 by default).
- Invoice the rental price when the order is taken (on by default): a draft invoice for the rental and any street permit.
- Debris types: the choices on the order form.
