Dumpster rentals

Driver stops and dump tickets

Drop off, swap and pick up dumpsters from the ServFlo app, and enter the scale ticket at the dump.

Drivers use the ServFlo mobile app. It works without signal: everything is sent when the phone is back online, and counts on the day it happened.

What the driver sees

On a rental's job, the Dumpster section shows the stop (drop-off, swap, pickup or dump run), the size and dumpster number, and where the customer wants it, with their photo of the spot.

Finish a stop

Open the stop

Open the job from My day and tap Finish stop.

Pick the dumpster

For a drop-off or swap, pick the number of the dumpster you are leaving. For a swap or pickup, check the one you are taking.

Take a photo

Take a photo of where you put it, so there is no question later.

Finish

Tap Finish. The dumpster's status and place update, and the visit is done.

Need the customer's signature? Use the job's usual sign-off.

Couldn't do the stop (blocked driveway, not ready)? Mark it as a dry run. Nothing moves, the trip fee is added to the rental, and the stop goes back to the office to schedule again.

Enter the dump ticket

At the landfill, tap Dump ticket and enter:

  • the weight on the scale ticket, in tons (for example 2.35);
  • the dump site;
  • the cost, if it differs from the site's price per ton;
  • a photo of the ticket.

The weight counts toward the rental's tons, so any weight over what was included is billed. The cost shows in the job's costs. The emptied dumpster goes back to your yard.

Extra charges

Found a mattress or tires in the dumpster? Add them as charges on the rental. They are billed on the next invoice.
